Industry: DATA CENTER
Data Center DFW

MIINC Mechanical took on a renovated shell space and transformed it into a data center. The facility had a dense layout that required approximately 700 tons of cooling. Installing three CRAC units on the 10th floor was a significant undertaking that required a large 660-ton crane and meticulous planning.
During the $1.7M project, MIINC encountered various challenges, including the delayed delivery of equipment provided by the owner. To prevent further delays, MIINC’s in-house fabrication shop took the initiative to pre-fabricate a pump skid. This solution saved valuable time and resulted in a $160,000 rebate for the client. In addition, MIINC rebuilt some of the owner’s equipment damaged during delivery. Despite these setbacks, MIINC’s technicians completed the project within the four-month timeframe.
The project’s positive outcome has earned MIINC the appreciation of the owners, who are now enthusiastic supporters of the company. The successful completion of the data center conversion and the cost savings have further strengthened MIINC’s reputation as a reliable and capable partner.
